Bike For Cancer Care 2021

Like many brewery centered running clubs, we’re a drinking club with a running problem, but we all follow a simple saying from Keegan Army’s founder, Tommy Keegan, “Have fun Play Nice”. For us, that nice part includes raising money for local causes that are near and dear to us and our local community. We are proud of these accomplishments!

Annually, Keegan Army raises funds for the SUNY Ulster’s Presidents Challenge Scholarship. The President’s Challenge Scholarship (PCS) assists first-generation Ulster County high school students with overcoming financial barriers associated with attending college. Students are identified in the eighth grade by their school district and receive mentoring and college readiness support through the completion of high school. Upon graduation, student are able to attend SUNY Ulster tuition-free for two years.

Another event we are always proud to riase funds as a team for is the Bike For Cancer Care. This organization helps assist patients with cancer deal with all other expenses going through the treatment. All money is kept local to families in Ulster County. We are proud to be one of the top fundraising groups for this organization each year.
